Web 3.0 Innovative Finance

Web 3.0 Innovative Finance

As a pivotal region in China’s national strategic development, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is driving regional economic integration through fintech innovation. As Web 3.0 emerges, we are leveraging Macau’s unique advantages as a free port with independent monetary system and financial innovation policies to drive breakthrough innovations through our integrated digital finance and lifestyle platform. By applying cross-border fintech solutions and blockchain technology, we focus on building Web 3.0 financial infrastructure with core initiatives including the digitalization of gold, Real World Assets (RWA) tokenization, and next-generation cross-border payment systems. These innovations bridge physical and digital assets while driving the monetization of gold, ultimately establishing a global asset circulation network that is efficient, transparent and secure.

In support of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s strategy to establish Hong Kong as an international gold trading centre, AGTech has partnered with the Hong Kong Gold Exchange (HKGX) to co-develop an integrated, one-stop international precious metals trading platform. The platform will integrate spot and futures trading, digital gold, B2C transactions, a clearing and settlement centre, OTC trading, membership management, and a centralized risk control system. It will support both offshore and onshore RMB, offer multi-currency pricing and settlement, multilingual interfaces, and an open, interoperable architecture—designed to enhance market efficiency, connect global investors, and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a leading international gold trading centre.

Macau Web 3.0 Think Tank

As a core driver of reform and innovation, the Group has partnered with world-leading technologists, economists, and policy researchers to establish the Macau Web 3.0 Think Tank. This initiative will profoundly contribute to Macau’s Digital Deepwater Port Strategy, serving as an intellectual hub for blockchain financial innovation in the Greater Bay Area, with three key focus areas:

1. Blockchain Financial Policy Research: Providing expert insights for the regulatory framework of digital assets in the region.

2. RWA Technical Standards Development: Leading the creation of protocols for asset-backed digital currencies (e.g., gold-pegged tokens) and establishing a differentiated RWA digital asset hub to facilitate cross-border corporate financing.

3. Global Collaboration Network: Strengthening China’s influence in shaping international Web 3.0 governance standards.
